IOAN JONES – STAKEHOLDER PROJECT 2021

Following on from the exciting news that our young professional Ioan has won a full tour card for the 2021 ‘EuroPro Tour’ we would like to take this opportunity to inform our members and friends that a scheme has been launched to help Ioan take full advantage of his playing rights and participate in as many tournaments as possible on the ‘EuroPro Tour’ schedule.

Playing and competing in the tournaments will require significant funding. Typically, a tournament will cost around £1,500 to play in, with entry fee, travelling, accommodation and ancillary expenses. Ioan is usually supported by a caddie who shares the travelling and accommodation and only adds minimally to the overall cost.

To help him with these expenses a stakeholder fund has been launched where you can take a stake in his progress for a minimum of £100. If he is successful and there’s prize money at the end of the year, then you will get a dividend back based on your stake.

Ioan has dedicated himself during lockdown giving himself the best chance of success he can by training and practicing hard and being coached by the best the sport can offer. Of course, all of this creates significant expenditure, and while he has the full backing of his family and friends at Clwb Golff Abersoch he desperately needs the support of businesses and individuals willing to sponsor him.
The first tournament IFX Championship will be held May 26-28 with coverage on SKY Sports. Follow Ioan live on the EuroPro website: click here..
Thank you for considering supporting the project and full details are available on the Club’s website or email pro@abersochgolf.co.uk for further information.
